Max & Ivan: Fugitives tells the story of two lowly tech developers who acquire a laptop full of contraband data, witness a murder, and then narrowly escape being assassinated. Suddenly, they find themselves sucked into a world of state-funded disinformation campaigns, bot farms, warring secret service factions, and terrifyingly powerful teenage hackers.
Inspired by the chaotic way global politics is currently unfolding, Max & Ivan: Fugitives is an on-the-run comedy thriller set across international date lines. The award-winning comedy duo have created their first ever podcast series for Storyglass, an eight-part, non-stop, explosive satire exploring what ancient democracy and high-tech algorithms don’t have in common.
Max & Ivan are a globally acclaimed comedy double-act, who have performed their intricate multi- character live shows at SXSW festival, the Adelaide Fringe, the Edinburgh Fringe (where their work has been nominated for Best Comedy), and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (nominated for Most Outstanding Show), as well as on tour throughout the UK.
Max & Ivan created, wrote and starred in BBC Radio 4 sitcom The Casebook of Max & Ivan, which has attracted guest stars including Matt Lucas, June Whitfield, Reece Shearsmith and Jessica Hynes. They also created a Comedy Blap for Channel 4 based on their hit live show The Reunion and appeared in BBC Two’s acclaimed comedy W1A as Ben and Jerry.

Amazing thriller
Love Max and Ivan in there normal guise, but this is an incredible vehicle for their wit, wordplay and talents. By playing it straight in a crazy situation they carve out a fantastic journey they makes you buy into their skills and ability to actually go on the run. The best thing is it’s more Max and Ivan which is never a bad thing.
