Baby, It’s Cold Outside by award winning writer Regina Moriarty is a powerful drama which puts an audience in the mind of an ordinary man on the edge of homelessness. Developed by Duck Soup Films, part of Fremantle’s stable of companies and in association with the homeless charity CRISIS - Baby It’s Cold Outside takes listeners on an entertaining, thought provoking and visceral journey, hitting home the very real impact of the tragic increase in homelessness in Britain right now.

Written by RTS award-winner Regina Moriarty and starring Chris O’Dowd and Anne-Marie Duff, the podcast was released in December 2018 and became an iTunes chart-topping hit.

Regina Moriarty is a BAFTA nominated (Outstanding Newcomer - British Television Writing) and RTS winning screenwriter (Murdered by My Boyfriend). She’s a graduate of the Royal Court Writers Programme and the NFTS Screenwriting MA. She was the recipient of the 2012

At the time of release, Zimena Percival, Artist Liaison and Creative Partnerships, Crisis, said: ‘Crisis is delighted to be working with this brilliant new platform, shining a light on homelessness in Britain at a critical time. Reaching and engaging with new audiences and helping them understand the real human impact of this issue is the first step in ending homelessness.’

“Everyone needs and deserves a home, and until we make it our urgent business to ensure that everyone has one, we can’t even pretend to be a civilized society. It would be great if everyone could do something
to help, however small.”
