Baby, It’s Cold Outside by award winning writer Regina Moriarty is a powerful drama which puts an audience in the mind of an ordinary man on the edge of homelessness. Developed by Duck Soup Films, part of Fremantle’s stable of companies and in association with the homeless charity CRISIS - Baby It’s Cold Outside takes listeners on an entertaining, thought provoking and visceral journey, hitting home the very real impact of the tragic increase in homelessness in Britain right now.
Written by RTS award-winner Regina Moriarty and starring Chris O’Dowd and Anne-Marie Duff, the podcast was released in December 2018 and became an iTunes chart-topping hit.
Regina Moriarty is a BAFTA nominated (Outstanding Newcomer - British Television Writing) and RTS winning screenwriter (Murdered by My Boyfriend). She’s a graduate of the Royal Court Writers Programme and the NFTS Screenwriting MA. She was the recipient of the 2012
Arts Foundation Fellowship in Screenwriting, the 2014 WFTV New Talent award, and in 2015, was selected as a Breakthrough Brit. Recently, Regina has written a single drama for Channel 4 and Duck Soup and collaborated with writer-director Dominic Savage. She currently has several TV projects in development, working with Little Island/ BBC, Sixteen Films and Duchess Street.
