OLD VIC GALA

A GALA CELEBRATION OF THE OLD VIC: BFI SCREENING LIVE BROADCAST

On Sunday 19 April 201, The Old Vic honoured Kevin Spacey’s extraordinary eleven-year tenure and contribution to British Theatre in spectacular style with a Gala Celebration at The Old Vic, London.
This evening, hosted by Hugh Bonneville, brought together the great and the good of British film, television and theatre, featuring appearances from Angel Blue, Mark Gatiss, Haydn Gwynne, Gemma Jones, Adrian Lukis, Elizabeth McGovern, Joe McFadden, Colin Morgan, Julian Ovenden, Neil Pearson, Tim Pigott-Smith, Stephen Tompkinson and Luke Treadaway with musical performances from Annie Lennox, Sting, and American singer, songwriter and pianist Peter Cincotti.

After the performance at The Old Vic, guests danced the night away at an exclusive post-show party at Ham Yard Hotel.

To build upon The Old Vic’s longstanding tradition of making theatre accessible to all, 450 tickets were also made available from 10 for a live screening of the Gala at the BFI Southbank, hosted by Rick Edwards.

The evening raised over 500,000 in aid of The Old Vic Endowment Fund.
